Scenic Views - New England, USA

This rolling stream travels around New England, switching between cameras in the woods, on the coast, in the cities and up in the mountains, with live weather, timelapse clips and relaxing music along the way.

One of its regular stops is the Old Stump cam in southern Maine, where squirrels and birds visit a weathered tree stump and bird bath in the woods. Other views come from Acadia National Park, Boston, Martha's Vineyard and Mystic in Connecticut.

In the far north of the rotation is Mount Katahdin, the highest mountain in Maine at about 5,267 feet (1,605 m) and the centerpiece of Baxter State Park, named after the governor who bought much of the land around it to protect it.

Did You Know? Katahdin's Baxter Peak marks the northern end of the Appalachian Trail, the long-distance footpath that runs all the way from Georgia.
