From high above Southbank in Melbourne, this camera looks out over a forest of apartment towers and office blocks, with the city center across the Yarra River and the weather sweeping in over the rooftops.

Southbank was once an industrial area of factories and swamps. From the early 1990s it was rebuilt into a district of high-rise homes, offices, shops and restaurants along the river, and today it's Melbourne's most densely populated area.

Its towers include the 975-foot (297 m) Eureka Tower, finished in 2006, and Australia 108, one of the tallest buildings in the country. The riverside promenade, the Southgate restaurants and the arts precinct sit at their feet.
