Terminal 2 - Haneda Airport, Tokyo, Japan

Terminal 2 at Tokyo's Haneda Airport (羽田空港) is home base for All Nippon Airways and its fleet of blue-and-white jets, and this camera watches over the apron as planes from Sapporo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Okinawa arrive and turn around for their next hop across Japan.

Haneda handles a huge number of flights every day, so there's almost always something moving, from the big twin-engine Boeings ANA flies on its busiest routes to the tugs and service trucks working around each plane at the gate.

Early morning brings the first wave of departures, and in the evening the apron lights come on as the last flights of the day roll in.

Did You Know? Haneda’s terminal observation decks are free to visit. Terminal 2’s rooftop deck is one of Tokyo’s favorite spots for watching planes up close.
