Quang Trung Street - Da Nang, Vietnam (Cam 2)

From high above Quang Trung Street in central Da Nang, this second camera looks over rooftops, trees and hospital buildings in the city's medical quarter, while traffic moves along the busy street below through the day and night.

Two of the city's biggest hospitals stand side by side here, between Quang Trung and Hai Phong streets. Da Nang Hospital, the largest in the city, dates back to French rule, when it was known as the Hôpital de Danang.

Da Nang lies at the mouth of the Han River, which runs through the middle of the city. On July 1, 2025, it merged with neighboring Quảng Nam province, and the enlarged city now has more than 3 million people.

Did You Know? The name Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) may come from the Cham words da nak, meaning "opening of a large river."
