We launched right as tensions across the Middle East were dominating global news, and people wanted to see the place for themselves.

The US coming in at a close second is no huge shock - it's one of the most webcam-dense countries on the planet.
From a runway camera at Los Angeles International Airport to street views of busy American cities, there's a lot to explore.
The gap between Iran and the US is just two views. Two. So in peaceful times, the USA will always dominate when it comes to views.

Like Iran, Israel's position here is very much tied to the moment we launched.
With conflict unfolding across the region, people were searching for a ground-level view - and live cameras offer something the news simply can't.
A live skyline camera over Tel Aviv quickly became one of the most watched streams on the whole site.
People aren't just watching the news about this part of the world. They're watching the truth, live and in real time.

1.4 billion people. The world's most populous country.
Honestly, we expected India to be even higher - which tells you just how much room there is to grow here.
However, India doesn't have a huge amount of interesting and reliable live streams to add to the site, which will hopefully change with time.
The cameras we have covering India are already pulling decent numbers, and as we add more, we'd expect this one to climb.

Okay, this one's a special category rather than a single country - it's our collection of cameras that don't belong neatly to any one nation.
Think open-ocean feeds, rolling multi-view cameras and things such as the International Space Station.
The fact that this page is pulling serious traffic tells us something: a lot of you aren't looking for somewhere specific.
You just want to see something extraordinary.
We respect that.
