Toronto Skyline & Waterfront - Ontario, Canada

Looking along the Lake Ontario waterfront toward downtown Toronto, this camera takes in the whole city skyline with the CN Tower standing tall above it, while parkland and boats line the shore in the foreground and traffic hums along the lakeside road.


Lake Ontario is the smallest of the five Great Lakes by surface area, but on a hazy day it still looks like an ocean. After dark the skyline glows, and the CN Tower lights up in different colors for holidays and big events.


It has a glass floor 1,122 feet (342 m) up, and on the EdgeWalk, people walk right around the outside of the roof, clipped to a safety line.


Did You Know? The CN Tower stands 1,815 feet (553 m) tall and is hit by lightning around 75 times a year.
