Watertown Intl. Airport - New York, USA
This camera watches the terminal ramp at Watertown International Airport, about 6 miles (10 km) west of Watertown in northern New York, where regional jets turn around in everything from summer sun to heavy lake-effect snow.
The city of Watertown bought the land in 1927, and the airport opened in 1929. Its main runway was extended to 7,001 feet (2,134 m) in 2016, and a second runway is just under 5,000 feet (1,524 m) long.
American Eagle flies from here to Philadelphia, a route that moved from Chicago O'Hare in 2014. About 23,000 passengers boarded flights here in 2024, and work began in 2025 on a new terminal and jet bridge.
Did You Know? In July 2024 a huge US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo plane landed at Watertown and stayed for two days.
