Bao and Ming Tigers - Animal Adventure Park, New York, USA
Tiger brothers Bao and Ming share a grassy, rock-lined habitat at Animal Adventure Park, set in the rolling hills of Harpursville, New York, about 15 minutes outside Binghamton, where they spend long stretches napping between bursts of play.
Their habitat is built around water, with a shallow pool at its center, which suits them. Unlike most cats, tigers like getting wet, and their partly webbed paws make them strong swimmers that often wade in to cool off.
The park opened in 2013 and now covers about 20 acres (8 hectares), home to more than 100 species, from giraffes and lions to bears and goats. A drive-through safari of more than 100 acres (40 hectares) sits across the road.
Did You Know? In 2017, more than a million people watched live as April the giraffe gave birth here, and her cam became YouTube’s second most-watched livestream at the time.
