Soi Green Mango - Chaweng, Koh Samui, Thailand
Last updated October 13, 2026Crowds stream past neon signs and open-fronted bars on Soi Green Mango in Chaweng, the busiest nightlife street on Koh Samui (เกาะสมุย), and on a big night the whole lane fills with people heading from bar to bar.
The street loops inland from the northern end of Chaweng Beach Road. Smaller bars play live house music and host guest DJs, while some run drinking contests, including a yard-of-ale challenge that often spills out into the street.
At the far end of the loop is the Green Mango Club, the large nightclub that gave the street its name. It gets busy after midnight, plays everything from party pop and R&B to house and EDM, and often stays open until 5 a.m. in high season.
Did You Know? Koh Samui's name is a mystery. Nobody knows for sure where the word Samui comes from.
