New York City Skyline - Brooklyn, USA
This live camera looks across New York Harbour from Brooklyn, capturing one of the most iconic city skylines on earth. One World Trade Center dominates the left of the frame, with Lower Manhattan stretching across the horizon and the Empire State Building visible further uptown on clearer days.
The view shifts dramatically throughout the day, from the golden light of sunrise hitting the glass towers in the early morning to the full blaze of the Manhattan skyline after dark. The harbour traffic below adds constant movement, with ferries, tugs, and cargo vessels crossing between Brooklyn and Manhattan throughout the day.
The camera is hosted by Gotham West Studios in Brooklyn, a production facility sitting directly across the water from one of the most photographed urban views in the world.
Did You Know? New York Harbour is one of the largest natural harbours in the world and was the primary gateway for over 12 million immigrants entering the United States between 1892 and 1954, passing through Ellis Island which is visible just off the tip of Manhattan from this vantage point.
