This camera looks down over Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, where neon signs, party buses and crowds fill the strip known as Honky Tonk Highway, with the city's glass towers rising behind.

Between 1st and 5th Avenues, the honky-tonks play live country music from late morning until the early hours. Nearby is the Ernest Tubb Record Shop, founded in 1947, which broadcasts the Midnight Jamboree on WSM radio.

The Grand Ole Opry's move away from the nearby Ryman Auditorium in 1974 hit Broadway hard, but the area has since boomed again. Bridgestone Arena, which seats almost 20,000, hosts the Nashville Predators and the CMA Awards.

Did You Know? Lower Broadway once ended at shipping docks on the Cumberland River, where Riverfront Park now sits beside the water at the foot of the street.
