Imagine Africa Waterhole - Greater Kruger, South Africa
This live waterhole camera looks out across the Olifants West Nature Reserve, deep inside the Greater Kruger ecosystem, one of the largest protected wildlife areas on earth, stretching across nearly 2 million hectares of bushveld. Olifants West sits within its western corridor, unfenced and open to the full movement of wildlife across the landscape.
The waterhole draws elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, and a remarkable variety of antelope and birdlife year round. The dramatic backdrop of the Northern Drakensberg Mountains is visible on clear days, giving the feed one of the more spectacular horizons of any live wildlife camera in Africa.
The camera is positioned at Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp, a safari camp offering accommodation with direct views over the waterhole and surrounding bush, giving guests the rare experience of watching wildlife from their own deck.
Did You Know? The Greater Kruger ecosystem is home to the largest remaining population of wild lions in South Africa, with an estimated 1,600 lions roaming across the combined Kruger National Park and surrounding private reserves, making it one of the most significant lion strongholds on the continent.
