10 Live Webcams With The Longest Watch Time

- May 2026 -

Views are easy to fake. Dwell time isn't.

Anyone can click a camera and move on in two seconds. But stick around for a minute or more? That means something caught your eye! Something made you stay!

A quick note before we dive in: EarthLive.TV launched in January 2026 and we're still growing - so view counts on individual cameras are relatively low for now.

We've filtered for cameras with more than 20 views this month, but as traffic builds these numbers will get bigger and the rankings will get more interesting. We'll raise the threshold each month as the site grows.

Every month we pull the data from EarthLive.TV - our free collection of 500+ live webcams from 90+ countries - and look at which cameras people actually watched the longest. Not which ones got the most clicks. Which ones held attention.

May 2026's list is a strange and brilliant mix. A notorious street in Philadelphia. A stork sitting on a nest in Germany. Penguins. Two airport runways. Al Jazeera News.

Here's what the world was watching.

National Aquarium - USA

- 41s Average Watch Time -

Watch the National Aquarium live

Starting us off at number 10 is the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.

Home to dolphins, sharks, rays and thousands of other marine animals, this camera gives you a window into one of the best aquariums on the east coast of the United States.

It's also the third aquarium or animal camera in this list - which tells you everything you need to know about what the internet really wants to watch.

LAX Runway - USA

- 42s Average Watch Time -

Watch the LAX runway live camera

LAX is one of the busiest airports in the United States and this runway camera catches the constant rhythm of arrivals and departures against the backdrop of the California sky.

We also have a Las Vegas airport runway cam if one runway isn't enough for you.

Moody Penguins - USA

- 44s Average Watch Time -

Watch the Moody Penguin cam live

Penguins. In Texas. Waddling around. Being penguins.

The Moody Gardens aquarium in Galveston houses a colony of penguins and - surprise - people love watching them.

This camera sits alongside our sea otter cams from Vancouver as proof that if you put an animal on a live stream, people will watch it. Every time.

Heathrow Airport - UK

- 46s Average Watch Time -

Watch Heathrow Airport live

One of the world's busiest airports, and one of the most-watched cameras on the site.

There's something hypnotic about watching planes land and take off from one of the great aviation hubs of the world.

Whether you're an aviation geek, a nervous flyer doing research, or just someone who finds airport cameras oddly soothing - Heathrow delivers. Non-stop, quite literally.

Table Mountain - South Africa

- 53s Average Watch Time -

Watch Table Mountain live

One of the most iconic views on Earth, streaming live. Table Mountain sits flat-topped above Cape Town like something from a film set, with Table Bay stretching out below it.

The light changes dramatically throughout the day - crystal clear mornings, afternoon cloud rolling in over the mountain like a tablecloth, golden sunsets. It's a camera you could genuinely watch for hours.

White Stork Nest - Germany

- 55s Average Watch Time -

Watch the White Stork nest live

224 views and an average watch time of nearly a minute. People are genuinely sitting and watching a stork sit on a nest in a small German town - and honestly, good for them. At the time of writing, several chicks had recently hatched in the nest.

White storks are a big deal in Germany. They return to the same nests year after year and their arrival is considered a sign of spring.

This camera has been one of our most consistently watched streams since we launched, and it's not hard to see why. It's just... peaceful.

Abbey Road Crossing - UK

- 1m 03s Average Watch Time -

Watch the Abbey Road crossing live

The most famous pedestrian crossing on the planet. Every day, hundreds of Beatles fans make the pilgrimage to this exact spot in St John's Wood, London, to recreate the cover of the 1969 Abbey Road album.

Watch for long enough and you'll see someone attempting the walk, usually holding up traffic, occasionally getting it spectacularly wrong. It never gets old.

Sam Sharpe Square - Jamaica

- 1m 33s Average Watch Time -

Watch Sam Sharpe Square live

A busy public square in the heart of Montego Bay - one of Jamaica's most vibrant cities.

Named after the national hero Sam Sharpe, the square sits in the middle of the action: street vendors, traffic, everyday Jamaican life playing out in real time.

This one is pure escapism. Warm, busy, alive. It's the kind of camera you open on a grey Tuesday afternoon and suddenly feel considerably better about everything.

Al Jazeera News - Qatar

- 1m 35s Average Watch Time -

Watch Al Jazeera English live

A live news feed from one of the world's most-watched broadcasters.

With the Middle East dominating global headlines throughout 2026 to date, it's no surprise people were tuning in directly - no algorithm, no push notifications, just a live stream from Doha running in a browser tab.

Sometimes the most watched camera isn't a scenic view. Sometimes it's just the news, live.

Skid Row - Philly - USA

- 1m 44s Average Watch Time -

Watch Kensington, Philadelphia live

If you've ever heard of the Kensington neighbourhood in Philadelphia, you probably already know why this camera is number one.

Kensington has become one of the most documented open-air drug crises in the United States.

The streets around Allegheny Station are regularly featured in documentaries, news reports and social media - and people are drawn to this camera for the same reason. It's raw, unfiltered reality, streaming live.

It's not comfortable viewing. But it is honest. And on EarthLive.TV, that's exactly the point - you see the world as it actually is, not as anyone wants you to see it.

What this list tells us is that people don't just want pretty views. They want reality - the good, the strange, the peaceful and the uncomfortable. A stork in Germany. A crisis in Philadelphia. Penguins in Texas. The news from Doha.

That's EarthLive.TV. 500+ cameras, 90+ countries, no filter.

We'll be back on June 30th with the June rankings. In the meantime, explore the full live camera collection, browse by country, or hit the button below and let us surprise you.
