Woodland Wildlife Feeder - Southern Oregon, USA

Deer step between tall trees beside a miniature wooden cottage in this Southern Oregon woodland clearing. Fallen leaves and pine needles cover the ground, while food and water draw animals close to the camera. The low viewpoint brings their faces, twitching ears and changing interactions into clear view.

The setting is a private forest property where wild animals come and go through the surrounding trees. Alongside deer, visitors include raccoons, squirrels, skunks and wild turkeys, with other birds also appearing around the clearing. Different species share the feeding area as activity shifts throughout the day.

Seasonal changes alter both the woodland floor and the animals passing through, from young deer accompanying adults to thicker winter coats. Quiet stretches leave the trees and small cottage in view before another visitor arrives. After dark, the camera’s night vision continues the view, revealing animals moving through the same clearing beneath the forest canopy.

Did You Know? Deer can turn their ears independently, helping them locate sounds coming from different directions.
