CNA Live - Singapore
CNA, Channel NewsAsia, is Singapore's international English language news channel, broadcasting continuously from the Mediacorp campus at Stars Avenue in Singapore. Launched in 1999 and owned by Mediacorp, Singapore's national broadcaster, CNA has grown into one of Asia's most watched English language news networks, reaching over 30 million households across the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
The channel focuses primarily on news and current affairs from Singapore and across Asia, covering politics, business, economics, and social issues with a distinctly Asian editorial perspective that sets it apart from Western international broadcasters. Its documentary output has won numerous international awards and covers everything from climate change in Southeast Asia to geopolitical shifts across the Indo-Pacific.
CNA broadcasts from the Mediacorp campus in Buona Vista, one of Singapore's key media and technology districts, just a short distance from the one-north business park that houses many of Singapore's most significant research and innovation institutions.
Did You Know? Singapore is one of only three sovereign city-states in the world, alongside Monaco and Vatican City, making CNA unique among national broadcasters in that its entire home country fits within a single urban area of just 733 square kilometres, yet it covers a region home to more than 4.5 billion people.
