Alaraby Television Network, known as Al-Araby Al-Jadeed or The New Arab, is an independent pan-Arab news channel broadcasting live 24 hours a day in Arabic from its headquarters in Lusail, Qatar. Launched in 2015, the channel is funded by Qatari media group Al-Quds Al-Arabi and positions itself as an editorially independent voice covering Arab and international news with a focus on objectivity and in-depth analysis.
The channel reaches Arabic speaking audiences across the Middle East, North Africa, and the global Arab diaspora, delivering continuous news bulletins, live event coverage, and political analysis programmes. Its roster of prominent presenters and a network of correspondents stationed across the Arab world and internationally give it broad reach across one of the world's largest language communities, with over 400 million Arabic speakers globally.
Lusail is Qatar's purpose-built smart city located north of Doha, developed as part of the country's long term vision to diversify its economy beyond oil and gas. The city gained global recognition as the host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final, held at Lusail Stadium.
